Who we are.

Originally from TREACLE TOWN in the U.K., this three-piece Rhythm & Blues band has been playing occasional gigs for a good few years, and only got round to writing a number of original songs during the spring of 2008.

Born in the early 1960's and influenced by bands of the mid 1970's, TREACLE TOWN play self-penned rhythm & Blues songs very much in the Wilko Johnson/Dr Feelgood no-frills no-nonsense tradition...though somewhat less animated live.

Gigging around out and about over the coming months (see events page) a studio album is likely to happen towards the end of 2009. In the meantime a 2-track demo single C.D. "Rich Mans' Blues/I Like It That Way" is available on the shop page.
